Celebrating Darwin

The year 2009 marks two significant anniversaries in science: Darwin's 200th birthday on February 12th and the 150th anniversary of his seminal work, The Origin of Species on November 24th.

To celebrate his contribution to our understanding of biodiversity, we are launching a blog  Celebrating Darwin , where researchers from around the globe will reflect on Darwin's contibution to their work, to science, and to the world.  If you are interested in contributing an essay, please contact Suzy Ryan, E&O Coordinator for the Gulf of Maine Area program
